Story Week: Eastern US

October 28, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm EDT

Start time where you are: Your time zone couldn't be detected. Try reloading the page.

Co-hosted by Marcus Sheffer, Regenesis Institute, and Katie Boone

During the week of October 24 we will be co-hosting four geo-regional 90-minute Story Week sessions: Europe/Mena/Africa, New Zealand, Eastern US, and Southwestern US. You are free to sign up for the session that is most local to you, or that works best for your schedule.

During the Story Week sessions we’ll be using a process that TRP graduate and rising faculty member Katie Boone has honed through her own work with various institutions and their stakeholders in the Midwestern US. We will ask participants to bring a story of how regenerative work has impacted you–the “difference that makes a difference” in terms of how a regenerative way of thinking, working and being has created a shift in your life, your organization, and/or your work in the world. While some of these stories may describe a major and visible impact on the world, we hope that many of them will also describe inner transformations that might otherwise be invisible.

During each 90-minute session we will break into small groups and take turns deeply listening to one another’s stories. Then we’ll do some sense-making and meaning-making, looking for patterns and insights together. Finally, each participant will be invited to formally capture their story (either in writing, on video, or through a recorded interview) as a follow-up to the sessions. We envision using these stories in myriad ways to further the advancement of regenerative work in the world.
