Introducing the Core/Field/Task Team Organizing Structure: creating a holarchy of opportunities to contribute to evolution.
Maintaining viability in a rapidly changing environment requires learning how to evolve as a whole—i.e., to move forward in a way that all the elements of an organization or a community work together as an integrated, self-reinforcing whole that stays authentic to its essence as it evolves in harmony with the evolution of what it serves. The overall Core Team/Field Team/Task Team structure offers a holarchy of opportunities to contribute to the evolution of a whole and what it serves, from specific and short-term tasks to long-term strategic oversight. It encourages self-organizing and creativity while maintaining alignment of efforts within the larger evolutionary context and around the core essence of the whole.
