Cohort AssignmentCohort A (Europe + MENA)
1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

My primary work is in the development space in bringing new ways of thinking, doing, and being to create smart livable cities on the basis of local/community/indigenous wisdom and collective wellbeing.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

I see my primary role as being a facilitator, leader, mentor, disruptor, and co-creator of regenerative practices for a more livable, lovable and just future.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

My aim is to expand and deepen my own regenerative practice, taking time to go inward and continuously revisit and reflect on my assumptions exposing and expelling patterns of being and doing inconsistent with a regenerative presence personally and professionally.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

Although I do think I am generally a highly reflective being, I am also a very busy and easily overloaded being. Hence, my particular arena in which I am working toward meaningful growth at the moment is my ability to slow down, to know that allowing space for not doing but for deep thinking is also valuable and necessary.

5. And for professional growth?

Professionally I want to be able to sharpen my semantic language capacities and together with regenerative tools and frameworks be able to also move along my colleagues and profession broadly speaking to incorporate more regenerative practices into their ways of thinking, being, and doing.

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

I have already introduced semantic layers and framework into my current project. I have been deepening my systems toolbox over the last several months with various course. While things are still a bit messy I look forward to continuing and expanding my understanding of being more intentional in my work.

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

I have dipped my toes many years ago into permaculture though I had a hard time to integrate such thinking into my profession and accordingly it was set aside and my practice in such not deepened. Last year I came across a tool which would allow for a holistic visioning and actioning of goals and I at the same time became hugely inspired by Simon Sinek and his idea of the Golden Circle and this in particular is the thinking that I have been able to bring into and further unpack in my current project.

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

I believe in the interconnectedness of all living things and that our purpose as humans is about connectedness and about using our whole hearts, minds and hands in a way that is really about the collective and not the individual.
