Participant Questionnaires

Your NamePranuthi Chander
Cohort AssignmentCohort A (Europe, MENA and South America)
1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

My current role is within a not-for-profit regranter that finds, funds and upskills individuals and organisations who are fighting the climate crisis whilst also mapping open and closed source data to a technology platform to allow climate focused data to be more easily accessible.
As COO within this organisation, I build out our internal strategy, run our programmes and work closely with our accelerator organisations to be able to give organisations the business capabilities they need to succeed.

I am also working on an idea for changing curriculum in schools to teach all age children and young adults the story of humans and their place in this world. In doing so I am actively trying to learn more about our place in this world and the role we were meant to play. This course is a step in that direction.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

I see myself playing two roles,
1. As an individual who can practice regeneration in her day to day life, and share her practices and processes with friends and family.
2. I see myself being an instigator of systemic change, both through my day to day work, as well as through the organisation idea around education that I have.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

I would love to be able to challenge the reason and purpose of education in the UK,and work towards changing what we teach in nurseries, schools and colleges.
I'd like to develop and bring curriculum that teaches babies, children and young adults regenerative practices and deeper understanding of the role that humans play in the wider ecosystem.

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

I have done some investment, however I am at the beginning of my journey. I have made some changes in the way I live, making sustainable choices and building my awareness on the impact of humans on the climate crisis through my line of work.

I have also recently transition from a fully fledged AI and data science consultancy to a not-for-profit climate change accelerator and platform to make my day to day work more purposeful and impactful.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

My current areas of personal growth are:

1. Understand more deeply the role of humans in this world as it was intended to be as co habitants with nature and other beings
2. Understand more deeply the reason for how humans have come to become what we are in our present ways of separated being
3. Have identified one path for transition from what humans role is now to what it could become in the future.
4. Deeply understand frameworks and how to practice them in day to day

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

I've recently started reading Climate by Charles Eisenstein and really enjoyed some of his concepts such as the Story of Seperation and Interbeing. I've being exploring Gurdjieff and JG Bennett briefly to understand some frameworks elements.

5. And for professional growth?

1. Deeply understand how regenerative practices within businesses could help fight the climate crisis, and how I can integrate it within my own organisation as well as our accelerator cohort members organisations

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

I believe humans are one of many beings in this world, and should live intertwined with other beings and nature, caring for the space they occupy and the other being they share the space with, taking what is needed for survival but also giving back to the ecosystem what they take. I think of this as the Story of Interbeing that Charles Eisenstein refers to in Climate. The reality is ofcourse different.
