1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

I think my primary work for this stage of my life is to step forward more confidently with my gifts, and expand upon what may be innately available inside me. I also believe my work is to connect more with other people, overall, as my work life is one where I am independent.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

I somehow get the sense that my role has something to do with connective relationships, creating connections between people, as this is a common theme in my life. I feel my role as a facilitator between people/entities and also between individuals and their own vision.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

I aim to continue working on identifying my personal filters which can cause me disconnection between myself and a person, an event, or just the present moment. I'd like to cultivate more awareness of what is coloring my perception, and instead allow more flow, more openness, more willingness.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

I do think that this means more exploration and willingness to do what's been challenging! To remain in conversation when it's difficult, to pursue integrity with values, to connect with others with shared values. Integrating more of that.

5. And for professional growth?

For professional growth, I'd say opening up to similar ideas of what feels challenging to me in my design work. To open myself to other avenues in what I offer which others I've been reluctant to try.

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

I've invested in making big life changes, moves, and I have jumped into a new field of work that I felt nervous/incapable of doing before I was able to voice it and dive in. I have stretched myself in those ways. I have also really been cultivating more in Nonviolent Communication practice, attending workshops/trainings, and continuing to seek more ways to continually integrate the heart of that language in my life. It has changed every part of how I interact in my life.

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

Nonviolent communication practice, and writers/speakers Miki Kashtan, Byron Katie, Lynne Forrest are current big influences in my life. Many others! It changes over time.

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

I have no idea how to put that into words! However, I do believe in the divine perfection of all things, and the divine intelligence of all, which humans are a part of. I would have no idea what role humans play in it 🙂
