1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

I see my primary work as building community and this takes many different forms, from working with youth to community organizations to working as a writer and storyteller.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

I create connections and facilitate spaces where people with shared visions or interests can come together and generate ideas, learn, or collaborate on projects.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

One of my aims is to deepen my ability to create positive change within community and develop the necessary skills and tools to help co-create more vibrancy and vitality in both the human and more-than-human realms.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

Continuing to uncover the conditioning that I've had from my upbringing, and culturally in the US as a white woman, and reconditioning my thinking and perspectives towards more holistic, inclusive, and regenerative approaches

5. And for professional growth?

Deepening my knowledge of ecology and animal husbandry, as well as my role in local and national social and enviromental justice movements

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

I've invested in healthy relationships, learning communities, and my local and regional communities (especially farmers, ranchers, and others involved in agriculture and education)

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

I look to many writers and artists, including Joy Harjo, Patti Smith, and Robin Wall Kimmerer. Creative writing, cultural landscape study, ecology, farming, and animal husbandry have all been important fields of learning.

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

My cosmology centers around the interconnection of all life. Humans play a role, however our role has become misaligned in many cases, and it's vital for humans to regain consciousness of our role in relation to the complex web of all living forms.
