1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

Right now, I am a mother primarily, and a steward of my children and our home. I have so many things I would like to do to make our home and the land it is on regenerative. However, in my professional life, I am a realtor. As a realtor, I see many opportunities for stewardship - in educating clients how to think about their relationship to their homes, farms, ranches or lands, and the choices they can make in how to develop and maintain them regeneratively.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

Guide to others in how to live in connection to place as stewards.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

I would love to get clearer on how to explain, articulate and embody a regenerative ethic in my personal ad professional life. I am also interested in developing forms and processes for helping clients assess their homes and develop them, and project manage their development projects, in a regenerative way. So basically a lot of adapting the teachings in this program into content, processes, practices and resources I can use in my business as a realtor, and in my home and family.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

My relationship to my own thoughts and mind! My response to my reality! Getting more steady in my approach to life in all ways, mostly within myself. I feel that the framework of reiteration will help me slow down and clarify how to respond to problems and identify solutions with concentric spheres of impact.

5. And for professional growth?

Learning how to represent myself, my ethics, who I am and how I practice - my STORY - I need to brand and market myself.... put myself out there.

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

BA in Sustainability & Multimedia Communications, Master's in Education, real estate license, attending conference on regenerative ag, finding a farm and ranch focused qualifying broker to work with. working in real estate for a year and a half, continuing to read and learn and try new things to grow in my field. A lot.

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

Permaculture. Ecology. Sustainability. Vandana Shiva. Reggio Emilia educational philosophy. Montessori Education philosophy. Yoga - Vedic teachings (several certifications). Trauma resiliency training (many different studies and workshops). Holistic Health Coaching - Institute for Integrative Nutrition. The China Study on plant based nutrition. Physical Education for Learning Readiness (John Ratey - author of Spark and Go Wild). Bill McKibben (Hope, Human and Wild). Spell of the Sensuous (David Abram).

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

I mostly feel that life is a mystery, and that there is a higher power, God, and magical energy at work in everything. I believe all things are connected. I believe stagnation and isolation - turning away from God and the beauty of creation and awareness of our place in it - are the reasons we feel sadness and depression. Humans are the stewards of the earth and each other. We are intended to heal each other, and largely through maintaining our connection to nature and each other.
