Cohort AssignmentSpring 2023 Cohort A: Europe + MENA
1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

The development of programs and formats aimed at educating and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs in the development of their projects and businesses.

In exact terms, this means: I currently work on,
- the development/facilitation of conferences (e.g. regeneration conference in The Netherlands, the Active8Planet conference in Salzburg, or World Summit Award in Graz)
- the development of entrepreneurship development formats (e.g. business model development workshops, etc.)
- development of community/collaboration formats.

I see it as my primary work to work together

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

I contribute to these projects as a concept designer (meaning, facilitating the thinking process for the creation of conference/educational programs).
I contribute as a facilitator (meaning, facilitating of the events/classes myself)

I see it as my role to keep the energy high, make creativity flow, think out of the box, and include unexpected stakeholders in the thinking process.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

To move the integration of regenerative principles forward within entrepreneurship development realms. Look and seek for ways to get regeneration higher on the agenda of curriculum providers/facilitators. Seek for more concrete case studies on regeneration and project development. To seek to find and showcase more concrete examples of regenerative design.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

Confidence: I can too often without myself from acting due to a feeling of not being good enough. I want to learn how to ignore my own limitations and not have myself restrained by my limiting beliefs.

Deep listening: there are certain areas in my life that don't feel 100% well. Either I learn to accept this or I anticipate and change. I feel I walked around with these feelings of doubt for too long, so that they become numb to some extent. Honestly, I don't know what the right answer is, and I believe that there's the solution to my need for growth. Better listening.

5. And for professional growth?

* In conducting research and writing. I feel it is my purpose to grow more strongly towards journalism in writing/presenting form. Collect stories and tell them differently.
* In presentating/hosting, I feel it's a core skill to facilitate learning/inspiration processes, and that I can grow a lot in it.

* Time Management, I believe I can learn more on how to better allocate and manage my time more effectively according to projects/priorities

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

- surrounded by the right people: social relations, most of my accomplishments in life have been through the connections I've build and the moments I co-created with, through and alongside those connections.
- Be there for other people: Moreover, by being focused on helping others, rather than myself.
- lots of time rather than money ;), a large chunk of my work/accomplishments and growth have been facilitated by volunteering, jumping on a boat because it felt like the right thing to do and growing moments and movements accordingly. It allows serendipity to come into play and flow to guide you.
- curiosity: always learning, I'm always reading, engaged in course work, and have always my senses open for new input. This, though I had difficulties staying concentrated reading for a long time.
- deep listening, though its a continuous journey, I did do a lot of self-work for the last 8 years. The latest inventions and findings related to being hyper sensitive and hyper activity make a lot of sense, but do still need to find a space. This deep listening, helps to facilitate the same for others.

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

- Paul Hawken

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

Life is interconnected, and can not exist in isolation. Therefore, we humans are not alone, separate – rather, we are an integral part of the whole of all life. Consciousness does not start with I think so I exist, but with I see you so I exist. The shared, and grows through the interdependence of things.

I truly believe that it is our core purpose as humans to care, love, and facilitate harmonious ecosystems. Our capacity to adapt, to comprehend, to understand, to empathize are core fundamental competencies in doing so.
