Why do you think this project is appropriate for the course assignment?

This project is based in a urban, low socio economic community and it is faced with water/electricity and socio-economic challenges. It highlights the real issues that communities face in times of uncertainty. It is an example of what the Global North will eventually face when climate change becomes a reality. This project has been running for a few years and has received international funding. It has reached a point of scaling to grow it's influence and reach within the community. We are curious to see how this project could evolve and what energy would emerge using a regenerative lens and regenerative frameworks. As a team we are curious to learn from this project to apply in other projects in the Global North, as this project is embedded in a country, culture and community already affected by climate change and economic instability.
