| Why do you think this project is appropriate for the course assignment? | The project was established about 50 years ago and itself has been a evolving system in the 50 years. It will be interesting to discover it evolvement patterns and project where it would be for the future. Today it is a top zoo in the country, and is the largest natural habitat zoo in the world. It receives about one million visitors per year, and has a profound on-going influence to its community and the state. At operational level, the zoo employs many sustainability best practice and is on the high rank of being a "sustainable" and "green" development. It would be interesting to study how it could become regenerative and more contributing. |
