1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

My primary work is to continue putting my skills to the service of a common cause (environmental or social), improving the lives of others and contributing in protecting the earth from human activities. Although I have spent most of my professional carrier in marketing and sales activities in classical capitalistic companies, I can now hardly imagine working in the future in a field that would be disconnected from this "common good" mission.
My primary work is also to continue evolving and learning, becoming more and more aware
- of new fields & topics
- and of previously overlooked relationships between known fields and events.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

At the intersection of what I like to do and what I think I am good at, is the capacity to tell stories, explain, and animate.
That's the reason why I would see my role as the one of a story teller, engaging people in projects that seem desirable (in my humble opinion).

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

I still have a solid 20 year professional activity ahead and my goal is to be able to remain engaged, interested and useful as long as possible, while developing my skills and knowledge.
In the short term, my goal is to consolidate the Butterfly School and make out of it a robust tool to change the way professional look at their companies.
In the longer run, it is difficult for me to be concrete as I have no particular life achievement in mind and as I believe that paying attention to what random encounters and unforeseen opportunities might bring is what really shape a happy life !

Still, I can mention one (mid-term) dream that resonates with the above, that would be to be able to publish a novel in the upcoming months/years.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

Connecting more to my emotions, my energy, my intuition than mainly to my brain.
I am not sure whether I will be convinced or transformed by this approach but I have a genuine desire to investigate what can come out a more introspective and conscious way of life (through more slowing down, more reconnection to nature, more introspection)

5. And for professional growth?

I would like to grow in two parallel ways professionally :
- Understanding more in-depth how the regenerative practice can help transform people and companies
- Being more informed, technically, on what can be done concretely, scientifically, politically to change the way we run businesses.

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

A high level of curiosity and an open-mindedness that allowed me to observe a large variety of fields, companies, territories, approaches...

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

I have never thought about my life in those terms. I would be unable to name of specific thinker or theory that influenced deeply the way I learn or act today...
I have picked through along the way everything that seemed interesting and in harmony with my core values...

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

Absolutely not. I have always had an ambiguous feeling towards those guided attempts to define one's philosophy or cosmology. Ikigai, life goals, raison d'être, religious beliefs, political ideology, everything that aims at defining who I am and what I can relate makes me slightly uncomfortable. I can feel empathy and interest for so many cosmologies - sometimes surprisingly antagonists - that I would not take the risk of defining mine.
