France with In-Person Intensive, Spring-Summer 2024
1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?
I think my work is to share information with a wide range of people via videos and films/documentaries or educational films.
2. What role do you see as yours to play?
I think I have a role of reconciliation between different levels of paradigms.
3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?
I want my video to be watched from the beginning to the end. I want them to be aired on channels where they can be seen, and have a wider effect.
4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?
Seing the potential even more than I do today. Respecting more the uniqueness of the people around me.Paying more attention to non humans.
5. And for professional growth?
Probably understanding my role as a video creator better.
I think going deeper into my client's aspiration would be a good arena of professional growth.
6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?
A lot of time. Energy. A part of my time with my kids. Money.
7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?
political science/ biology/neuroscience/ theology/ history/ litterature-science fiction/ journalism/ epigenetics
I spend two years in Canada (Saskatchewan) when I was a kid. I got involved with native american thinking. I guess it shaped a part of I am.
I also spend some time in Germany as a student. The German relation to nature was very different from the French. It shaped me also.
I think a lot about these guys lately : Baptiste Morizot, Jared Diamond, Elizabeth Kolbert, Ada Palmer, Yuval Noah Harari (he led to my loss of faith)
But, I am first of all a journalist, meaning that I read a lot, but I don't spend my entire life studying one field. I like exploring a variety of fields, thinkers, ideas, topics... Like a bee going from flowers to flowers..
8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?
I was born and raised catholic. Today I feel closer to other forms of spirituality that embody the forces and energies of non-human. For the past 5 years I've been practicing Kundalini yoga which give importance to our relation to the world and to Gaia.
I believe each on of us radiates with some sort of energy-shall it be humans or non humans. I believe humans are just like other living beings. I've been thinking for a while that I want to be buried directly in the soil in order to desintegrate and be part of the whole. This is how I conceive the resurrection/ reincarnation.. Humans are one species among others. And for me its becoming urgent to understand or to reconnect with non humans. I find it very strange to spend so much money to ry to go on the moon rather then to try to truly speak with our cats/dogs/spiders/ birds with whom we share the same planet. I think that as a woman I have a role to play. As we women have been in the past few centuries considered the way animals are considered today and the feminist revolution changes a lot, with no violence. So I guess it's a path for the rest of us.
