1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

My primary work is graphics and UX design.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

In my role, I specialise in creating compelling graphics and user experience (UX) designs. I develop print and digital solutions that enable brands to flourish and excel within their respective industry sectors. My designs are geared toward enhancing brand presence and ensuring success in the competitive business landscape. They are very client—or business-driven. I am transitioning to become a researcher in design to gain expertise in the practical application of regenerative design in addressing the plastic crisis.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

The goal is to get accepted for PhD program at Central Saint Martins, start my research in January and finish it in four years' time with an original contribution to the advancement of knowledge in my chosen area of study.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

In relation to my PhD and working with Indigenous People, I feel my next arenas for personal growth would be in dealing with people of different levels power — being sensitive, respectful and understanding of people's (especially IPs) ways of being.

5. And for professional growth?

I foresee my next avenues for professional development as honing specific skills essential for becoming an expert in my field. This will involve focusing on mastering technical competencies and staying abreast of industry advancements. Additionally, I aim to enhance my ability to thrive in collaborative work environments and further improve my communication skills, particularly in effectively sharing knowledge and ideas.

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

I have invested in reading books, papers and publications as well as started building networks.

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

Building regenerative cultures by Christian Wahl has become dear to me.

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

"If your life's work can be accomplished within your lifetime, you're not thinking big enough." — a thought-provoking quote from Wes Jackson that encourages us to set ambitious goals and dream beyond our immediate capabilities. It reminds us to think in terms of long-lasting impact and to aspire to achieve something that extends beyond the constraints of our own lifetime to become "good" ancestors of the planet.
