1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

I help my fellow humans and organizations re-frame experiences and goals to encourage a reciprocal, transparent, self actualizing, self managing, 'us-us' (as opposed to 'us-them'), win-win outcomes.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

I listen actively and help create space and the occasional nudge aimed at helping those around me be successful and simultaneously create success for those in their sphere.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

I would really like to work in an organization that is already inclined towards helping create self-managing teams, distributed decision making, conscious reciprocity, and a regenerative leadership approach (as I understand it today). I hope to grow relationships in a community of like-minded practitioners I can support and learn from. I am really interested to learn in community, and not just on my own.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

I have learned (incorrectly) that accepting help enters me into a transactional obligation. I wish to learn how to accept help/support graciously as part of a regenerative and freely given reciprocal care. I also have SO MUCH to learn about regenerative leadership, organizations, and how to facilitate their coming into being.

5. And for professional growth?

I have SO MUCH to learn about regenerative leadership, organizations, and how to facilitate their coming into being.

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

The collective experiences of repeatedly failing, trying again, and iteratively moving towards success in my personal and professional life.

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

I am always learning and growing. There is so much still to understand. I learned about human systems supporting group homes and independent living developmentally disabled adults and their support communities. I draw from a wide variety of sources such as Deming, the Agile Manifesto, DevOps, Scrum, Montessori pedagogy, process engineering, systems engineering, and more recently Happiness Lab, Carol Sanford, nRhythm, Braiding Sweetgrass, and regenerative tech articles.

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

I believe we, humans, all have the capacity and obligation to care for ourselves, our fellow creatures, and our communities and ecosystems. We have the ability, through the collective power of a billion voices and actions, to leave the creatures and systems in our sphere of influence, better than when we arrived.
