1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

It's inner work, as deep as it sounds. I'm at a stage of life where at work I sit in a middle management position which bridges the link between senior leadership and the more junior employees. I act as a project coordinator and checker of wellbeing of the junior members. Personally I am starting to think about starting a family.
Within this context I see my primary work being able to handle conflicting demands, whilst having the headspace and time to support others and I believe this will require a lot of introspective work, of understanding my leadership style, how/when I say no, and allowing myself to recharge.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

A facilitator and carer role - developing people's capabilities, mentoring and teaching. More operationally it means organising and structuring process for smooth and efficient ways of working.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

My goals include consolidating my team and processes at work, and personally my goal is to exercise being present and having the space and time for my introspective work.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

Effective communication of boundaries applying a non-violent approach, embracing my authentic self and allowing time for self-awareness.

5. And for professional growth?

Enhancing my leadership skills and culture management.

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

Invested time for self-awareness, coaching and theraphy.
Invested in courses for my professional development.
Invested in relationships with mentors.

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

Yoga philosophy, meditation (as in understanding the effects of meditation in our body and mind), non-violent communication, and systemic and strategic thinking.
Thinkers include: Daniel Goleman, Marshall Rosenberg, Brene Brown, Gabriela Prioli, and more recently Clarice Lispector.

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

My philosophy of life is about fostering a positive and healthy environment for myself and others around me. I believe in nurturing relationships that are truthful, honest and in helping others in my community.
Humans have a role in creating spaces, functions and enabling equitable places for people and nature to co-exist. We shouldn't take more than we give back.
