1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

Contributing to the transformation of the current dominant thinking and way of doing so that we can transition to better more life-affirming future. I'm doing this by working on the narrative of the 'planetary health' paradigm and spreading it as much as possible within my sphere of influence, both in my transdisciplinary work within the regional government and in the initiative I'm leading at the College of medical doctors.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

I see my role as an ecosystem builder and nurturer, connector of different fields and disciplines, and also as a leader (especially in the work I do at the College of medical doctors).

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

Raise awareness about planetary health and embed it into medical curricula and public policies.
Help developing ecological and social bottom-up "shared agendas" in our region.
Articulate a movement of health professionals that advocate for planetary health.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

I feel my next arena for personal growth is to prioritize and work on my well-being. I've been working very hard in the last few years and have often stepped out of my comfort zone. Additionally, I'm in the middle of a complicated relationship situation, so I want to prioritize my well-being. (I hope it doesn't affect this course, as I'm really excited about it and want to enjoy it.) Also, I want to focus on my spiritual growth. Although it's been one of my priorities in the last few years, I haven't been able to devote the time to it that I wanted.

5. And for professional growth?

Two and a half years ago, I decided to take some time off from medicine to pursue a path more aligned with my true self. Since then, I've experienced significant professional growth, stepping out of my comfort zone in different settings. Now, my next arenas for professional growth might include working on my confidence, improving the way I communicate, and striving to be a good and selfless leader. Additionally, I look forward to continuing my learning journey in fields I'm interested in, such as regenerative development and transformative innovation policy.

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

I'm where I'm right now because the past few years I allowed myself to follow my intuition and create a new path that I feel more aligned with. I have invested a lot of time in reading, learning, and studying new things and fields, driven by my curiosity and the necessity to understand why we are facing the current socioecological crises. Additionally, I have invested in creating connections and a network of contacts with a similar level of consciousness to mine, by attending events, retreats, etc.

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

Systems thinking, planetary health, engaged buddhism, ecologic economics.
Thich Nhat Hahn, Donella Meadows, Fritjof Capra, Carol Sanford, Kate Raworth, Jason Hickel.

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

I would say that the "philosophical" concept of 'interbeing' defines my way of seeing life. I believe the main root of all the poly-crises we're experiencing today is the fact that we humans don't know our role on this planet. I believe our only way out is to reconnect with ourselves, our bodies, and transcend our anthropogenic worldview, acknowledging that we're part of this fascinating web of life. That's why the 'concept/movement' of regeneration is so precious and sacred to me. I believe it represents and embodies the necessary transformation humans should undertake to rediscover our role if we want to restore the balance of this beautiful planet and its natural systems.
