1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

I am transitioning from being a franchisee in a fast-food restaurant business. I have a personal podcast, Conscious Conversations with Mmabatho Montse, which I am hoping to grow and earn an income from. This podcast is aligned with my work as a researcher embarking on a Ph.D. research study centered around ancestral trauma, healing modalities, the laws of the universe, and how human beings can live harmoniously with nature. This work is grounded in my Calling as a Being destined to inspire hope, faith, love, and trust among people on Earth.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

My role is to continue being mutable enough to allow Spirit to work through me, so I can learn the ways of the Mystics and share that with ordinary people, to reduce aimless suffering in the world.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

I am pursuing a Ph.D. research study to understand the ways of NTU. This will involve understanding how to exist harmoniously with nature; living systems, social and biotic, complex and emergent.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

- Paying focused attention to my work and being disciplined in completing tasks within a set timeframe.
- Not spreading myself too thin.
- Time management

5. And for professional growth?

- Improve my writing skills.
- Effectively working with the networks in my community.

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

I have started to limit activities I feel are not directly involved in what I feel is my purpose in this lifetime. Now that I am settled in a home space, I feel more grounded and like I am finding my bearings again.

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

I enjoy learning about how to live well and how to be a good ancestor. Recently, Bayo Akomolafe, Kem Wilber, and Neville Godard are some of the influential philosophers in my life.

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

My heart and mind have imagined the bold rise of UbuNtu—in Africa and globally. The insights I have received is that we [humans] can contribute to this goal, through community-driven regenerative projects, using tools such as the mind to build mental resilience and the heart to help people connect. People must connect first with themselves and then with Source in order to align their spiritual selves and sense into the Oneness they share with the natural world.
