1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

Finding ways to heal people, planet and myself. I have been through a very difficult few years with a lot of loss and trauma (a difficult start to motherhood with a traumatic labour and then the sudden death of my father, followed by a relationship breakdown from a toxic relationship and moving house twice). I see my primary work now to heal myself, but also to find work that is meaningful and heals others and the planet. This is why I have set up the project Her Land, to help women and girls heal both themselves and the land (see www.herland.co.uk). I also see my primary work as raising a strong, kind, healthy daughter.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

I am always full of ideas and am creative. I think my role is generating ideas and setting up projects and initiatives which will help people and the land heal. I see my role as the creator.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

My goal at the moment is to make Her Land a success and for it to improve the health of women and girls and the land. I also have other business ideas I'd like to explore.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

I would like to try and become a more confident public speaker as I struggle with this. After such a difficult few years I want to look after myself and practice a lot of self-care.

5. And for professional growth?

I want to learn more about building and designing in a regenerative way, such as building earth ships and building with natural materials. I feel I am in a big period of transition professionally and am being drawn away from my current publishing business in to a new field of regenerative design, building and property. It's daunting but exciting!

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

I have studied a lot throughout my life. I have a degree in Sociology and a Masters is Psychology, and have undertaken several courses. I have invested a lot of unpaid time and energy in to setting up businesses over the last decade, some which have been successful and some not. I have so many ideas for new businesses and projects but struggle with keeping focus and can get overwhelmed.

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

I like learning about psychology and people, and more recently about regenerative design, materials and building. I find Seth Godin very inspiring and have read many of his books and the carbon almanac. His book 'The Icarus Deception' resonated strongly with me. I enjoy mindfulness meditation and books from Jon Kabat-Zinn.

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

I haven't thought enough about this, although I would like to. I believe that as humans we should behave in ways that are in tune with all life and the cosmos.
