1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

To better understand myself and the universe in order to understand/realize my calling, potential, purpose, and what I can contribute to the world.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

Right now I am very called to this--my purpose is to witness and elevate beauty.

I've spent a fair amount of time talking with Bill Reed, and he has coaxed me to consider my essence as something much deeper, and therefore my potential as possibly more specific. I've spent time thinking about what my essence is, but haven't been able to get much deeper than the above purpose.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

To surround myself in beauty. And to understand what gifts I have that would allow me to spread beauty in the world.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

I'm very interested right now in the concept of separation versus oneness. I'm trying to wrap my brain around that and feel into that truth.

I'm also very interested in the role of our thoughts and emotions on our health. I have always focused on nutrition, sleep, etc etc, but am starting to see our thoughts, beliefs, and emotions as the true source of health.

5. And for professional growth?

I just started a new job two weeks ago. It is everything I could have dreamed of and more. I definitely feel like this might be my calling. It involves understanding humans' role on earth (at least that is where my brain has gone), and has forced me to really think about holism versus reductionism. My role at the moment feels very reductionistic, and I'm trying to understand how I can bring holism to this work.

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

I've invested in learning and exploration. I've spent a lot of time reading, and reaching out to people I find intriguing with the hopes of connecting. I've taken a few online courses over the last few months. I've been trying to follow my heart and see where that takes me. I've never felt so passionate about something that all I want to do is learn more, so I feel like I'm in a very exciting and transformative period in my life.

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

The people/things that immediately come to mind:

Bill Reed
Carol Sanford
Nora Bateson
Indigenous wisdom
Charles Eisenstein

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

Humans are a part of (not separate from) nature, a piece in the beautiful web of life.

Human uniquely possess consciousness, but I don't have an understanding of what role that specifically enables us to play.
