1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

I would like to give back to the society, specially the underserved communities- to help build their capacity to become self sufficient in face of the frequent climate related challenges which decimate their lives and livelihoods and which they are ill equipped to handle with their indigenous knowhow. They are bearing the brunt of polycrises , none of it of their own making.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

Use my experience, knowledge and education to mount a collaborative effort of professionals with varied domain expertise , to pool in their efforts and help build the capacity of the indigenous people to face climate induced disasters and generate innovative solutions to the challenge.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

Put together a collaborative effort of trained professionals sharing their technological expertise, combine it with the wisdom and know how of traditional techniques of indigenous communities to co create innovative solutions for a better quality of life, homes and livelihoods.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

Build my own capacity through learning the proven and applied processes and systems from across the world.
Collaborate and network with like minded peer group of professionals, working in similar and/ orrelated domains.
Refine qualities of empathy, kindness and inclusiveness
Focus more on intuition and synchronicity

5. And for professional growth?

I am enrolled in various fellowship programs to increase my knowledge base
Reading is a passion that fuels my ongoing learning and practice in sustainable design
I am also reaching out to such professionals as Jeff Goebel’, John Fullerton, Denise deLuca and others in order to leverage their experience and expertise to inform my initiatives in community engagement

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

.I gave up a successful commercial practice as a Design Consultant to chase my passion of serving the underserved
I have invested humungous amounts of personal resources- energy, time and money, to honour a full blown commitment to serving the underserved communities,

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

All life is interconnected and we humans are the agency through which Shakti ( Supreme Energy ) manifests itself.
We are but dancing to the tune of this Shakti if only we permit our intuition to guide us.
Both Hinduism and Buddhism philosophies, Law of Karma and Cause & Effect inform my thinking and actions
