1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

Primarily to realise my potential - I do not wish to spend my life, not having had the opportunity to witness or to share this

My potential (I think) primarily relates to bringing people together, and assisting in increasing capacity, orientation, awareness, in order for others (broadly defined) to reach their potential.

I currently run training courses on the climate and ecological emergencies, and in this I am able to pursue some of these activities (within limits).

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

I can't quite separate this question from question 1) above..

Enabling, facilitating, sense-making and supporting effective decisions are important aspects of my role.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

In the short-term, I would like to develope a suite of training material and network related to optimal community development in the context of the climate and ecological emergencies.

I would like to develop my work more in-person and locally.

I would like to see large-scale civic engagement with these crises, and the search for a new human-ecology.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

1st Line of Work ... effective routines, and finding seams of reliable 'pro-activity' are certainly areas for personal growth. Integrity in my word: delivering what I promise, and understanding why I do not, on occasion, deliver on firmly held intentions. Understanding and better managing my own capacity for reputational and financial risk.

5. And for professional growth?

I find it interesting that I do not have a clear sense of my answer to this question!

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

Significant effort in learning new relevant subject matter - I've been working in systems-change related training for 3 years now, and success / gaining a sound reputation has required significant effort. 2 degrees in international relations / law, and international security / intelligence.

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

Karl Popper's work was my first introduction the scientific method, and related epistemology and ontology, and has been influential through my life and work.

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

Philosophy or Cosmology: in a phrase, not right now, not in any depth. Aligning myself with the unfolding of creative potential of the life-force is something that animates me.

Roles: curator, steward, 'gardener', witness and celebrant.
