1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

My primary work is uncovering the area of expertise (within sustainability) that I want to specialize in. I have felt like a generalist in my career up to this point, but I have somehow been unable to create a vision for my career path.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

The role of reshaping how humans view themselves, how they view the natural world, and how they view themselves in relation to the natural world. From there, creating actual changes in people's behavior based on this perspective shift.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

Until I can truly accomplish this full perspective shift in my self and my behavior, I don't know how I can really successfully initiate this perspective shift in others. I have a goal to figure out what what's limiting my perspective shift.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

My next arena for personal growth is learning how to feel connected to the community around me, and grow that community around me, without becoming a victim of culture. I want to stay true to my own beliefs, and see my beliefs influence my behavior more often.

5. And for professional growth?

Integrate my personal journey into my professional journey in order to uncover the area of expertise I want to specialize in.

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

I feel as though I have done mostly personal investment to get to where I am. On the professional side, I feel like I have invested a lot of time and energy, but without much to show for it.

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

anthropology, evolutionary psychology, sociology (social constructs / religion / social patterns), literature

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

My philosophy/cosmology of life is that is should not be human-centered. At the same time, I am a deeply social and empathic person. Humans, and how they are feeling, and their experience of life, is where my my mind gravitates and where my heart cares the most. We live in a human-centered world currently, but a human-centered world does no good for humans. I feel some self-contradictions here that I want to work through.
