Studying and learning
A collective coaching program to feel a sense of community

Permaculture

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

Carol Sanford has a huge influence on me. After several years of studying her work, I still feel I don’t get her thinking completely but I also sense the underlying transformational power
Complexity thinking and Dave Snowden’s Cynefin method
Daniel Christian Wahl introduced me to the field of regenerative design
As a young woman, I was influenced by the work of Vandana Shiva: her fight, her work, the importance of indigenous crops and knowledge

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

Scientific materialism and capitalism have led us to divorce from indigenous knowledge, sorority, understanding and community between humans and with the rest of the living communities.
At this time, our role is to learn the technologies and frameworks to reconnect to ourselves, our human communities and the ecologies we are part of.
We have a huge responsibility to regenerate pour living ecosystems and allow other living beings to thrive on this planet equally.
But at the moment, we still need to do the inner and community work to reconnect between us before we’ve destroyed other living beings beyond repair.
