1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

As a self-employed engineer, I help industrial companies with the technical administration of the European CO2-trading System (ETS) they are part of, and next to that I do the conceptual design of installations that provide industrial procesheat. In this part of my job a see a shift from fossile fuels to decarbonised ways, mainly electrification.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

1/ To help industrial companies to become CO2-neutral, by advising and teaching them based om my knowledge on producing proces heat CO2-neutral and efficient.
2/ Next to that, I'm facinated by the complexity of rain forests and the great barrier reef, and I dream about creating a foodforst for my city.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

Create some calculation tools and courses on the first point, that generate the income to be able to have time to work in the second point.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

After a semi-burnout 2 rears ago: slowing down, focussing, and being more outside in nature/my own garden.

5. And for professional growth?

Developping the tools and courses I mentioned at question 3.

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

I'm still finding out. I was triggered by Leen Gorissen to question our way of life. I visited Australia and aim now reading about aboriginal culture.

It is an honor for us humans to live on this planet. I'm still not convinced that we have much added value on our ecosytem.
