1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

My primary work at this stage of life is influencing the quality and coverage of public health and nutrition programming in Uganda and other developing countries. Behind the scenes, I see myself leading critical innovation in farming of nutrient dense crops (including vegetables and fruits), Nutraceutical industry, and social enterpreneurship in Agroprocessing, nutrition, healthcare and community engagement in my motherland of Uganda.

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

I see myself as an influencer, capacity builder and convener of stakeholders to disrupt the normal programming, policy for nutrition and supportive systems in Uganda.

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

I aim at empowering other like minded individuals and groups to collectively disrupt the routine way of doing business through evidence-based approaches that are engaging at all levels. This includes writing books/articles, and developing relevant teaching content for the cause, and widely sharing with all the stakeholders.

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

Acquiring critical knowledge and skills around Nutraceutical Industry, disruptive farming and food processing, writing and documentation and public speaking tools and collaborators. I am also seeking appropriate models for uncoventional institutional and individual/group training and capacity building which are suited to developing countries that ultimately can end up Schools of learning and tourism.

5. And for professional growth?

For next 5 years, I want to continue my work in Uganda but with unique skill set that makes me indispensable in my nutrition programming in Uganda.

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

I have been a life long learner who enrols in different available training, coaching and mentorship programs. I have used my own resources and networks to help me reach where I am.

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

Making others smile!
I believe my calling is to support in transforms lives of those who are or have gone through difficult situations and get them empowered to be the best they can. To achieve this requires a well knit network of like-minded people willing to journey with me.
