Cohort Assignment | Hybrid In-Person/Online with Intensive in Costa Rica, Winter-Spring 2024/2025 |
1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life? | I've been on a journey of realizing that with living into my potential, I can support the potential that lives within my family system, and within the work I do within the food system. I'm energized to get deeper into living systems thinking to further this way of being and continue to see how the world around me blossoms. |
2. What role do you see as yours to play? | At this stage, I see my role to be an active student. Listening, considering, staying curious and doing the work - maybe failing, but attempting. |
3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above? | To be diligent, intentional and authentic to myself throughout this learning experience. |
4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are? | How to not be an enabler- learning how I can hold accountability while still deeply honoring peoples' own authentic journey. Also, continuing to peel the layers of my own growth journey across more and more aspects of my life. |
5. And for professional growth? | The more I see systems as wholes and as alive and interconnected, the more potential I see for transformation. I want to continue to use my passion in my work to play this thinking into the way I show up at work- especially as I start (next week) with a new "corporate" role. |
6. What have you invested in to get you where you are? | Therapy, 11 months off work with diligent focus on mental and physical health, nervous system work, healing family relations, reNourish Studio, time, passion, energy, love and money. |
7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life? | Regeneration: reNourish Studio, participating in regenerative agriculture projects with work - both of which were from Lauren Tucker Hippie / Nature Roots: My mom has been an amazing teacher in my life, always learning from and appreciating the beauty and lessons of nature. |
8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it? | I see that humans are creators and we have the opportunity to use our creativity in support of life. To see this through, I believe I (we) need to commit ourselves to constantly learning, evolving and working together- with community and with nature. |
