1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life? | I am working to apply my skills in regenerative tourism as an expansion of my previous intersecting careers in business consulting and hospitality tourism. |
2. What role do you see as yours to play? | Currently, I am imagining myself as a connector of like-hearted individuals who wish to expand the global conversation for regenerative tourism and a leader of the Stay Wilder brand designed to be a demonstration of what is possible when business commits to regenerative practices. I am new to the field of regenerative design and look forward to further exploring what my role might be. |
3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above? | To gain a greater sense of clarity about the ways I can have my business(es) contribute to regenerative travel and tourism and how best I can contribute my skillset and leadership. |
4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are? | Discovering the world of what it means to practice "regenerative design" and how I might apply that via business in the next 10-20 years. Building networks where I can work collaboratively - I have spent several years as a sole practitioner or in small teams. |
5. And for professional growth? | Discovering the world of what it means to practice and lead "regenerative design" and how I might apply that via business in the next 10-20 years. |
6. What have you invested in to get you where you are? | Developing myself as a small business entrepreneur, education, and innovation. |
7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life? | Adult education, ontology, linguistics. Jack Mezirow, bell hooks, Peter Block, Werner Erhard, and more recently Carol Sanford. |
8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it? | I am here to make a difference with the privilege it is to be alive. I am here to explore the world and larger systems and, where possible, to assist others in developing their capacity to be well and make an impact with their life. I believe my access to being of service to others is my personal transformation. Human development is central to my philosophy. |
