1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?
To bring insight of the connection between humans, their actions and the rest of the living planet.
To spend as much time with loved ones as possible.
TO cultivate my health and the health of those I love.
2. What role do you see as yours to play?
To bring insight of the connection between humans, their actions and the rest of the living planet.
TO do outreach to my community to understand the living system they live amongst and are part of.
TO enlighten those working in apparel design to how to consider ecosystem services in their work.
To bring attention to the humbling awesomeness of nature to adults and children
3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?
To launch workshops this summer for local families to do exploratory art and experiential learning of ecology outdoors.
To launch workshops this summer for apparel executive teams to understand ecosystem processes and how they might consider their impact in their work.
To work as a guest lecturer at design institutions to educate on how to value nature in fashion design.
To consult with my city planning to inform how to regenerate the ecosystems lost and impacted by development, as well as coexist with wildlife.
To write a childrens book on the interconnection of ecosystems and humansa and illicit humbling awesomeness for nature.
4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?
Navigating how to have confidence in my abilities.
How to live more internationally to be with family.
How to settle down and chose where to own a home.
5. And for professional growth?
How to market the right pitch that will appeal to those in the corporate world.
To build a website with what I offer.
To connect with design universities to work as a lecturer.
To build a course curriculum for ecology in fashion design.
6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?
Certifications in Biomimicry, Indigenous Learnings, Regenerative Design, Phd studies in ecology 20 years working in the fashion industry.
Attended sustainable design fashion and materials conferences.
Read lots of books
Online courses in systems design

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?
Humans are temporary participants in the exchange of energy and resources with all other living things and with the environment.
We are intelligent enough and have the ability to impact our environment and other living things to a degree much greater than other species, it requires us to carry ourselves wisely and consider the ecosystem before acting.
