1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life? | Developing my capacity to work with and through others in tackling large organizational problems. |
2. What role do you see as yours to play? | Integrator of teams which I have no direct control over. Recreating systems and re-thinking business as usual. |
3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above? | Develop and progress a Climate Friendly Parks Program, implement proper Asset Management practices, and start planning our construction and repair projects more than 2 months in advance at Grand Canyon. |
4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are? | Taking time for the intangibles and relationships that are the real value of living. |
5. And for professional growth? | Providing vision and empowering others to do what needs to be done but keeping engaged enough to know when I should step in and help guide/coach/re-source. Devlelop regenerative design approach for more aspects of my work. |
6. What have you invested in to get you where you are? | Put in lots of time to understand the systems to understand the nodes. |
7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life? | Project management, leadership and management theory, permaculture. |
8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it? | Borrowing from Richard Rohr: our purpose is to return that which we were given. Which is to say we are to give ourselves. Ging deeper, its one's essence that we are to return to best contribute. |
