1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?

Look for all the opportunities to take and to give positive energy and enthusiasm. On the professionnal side, it means :
- enrolling the person I feel happy to work with and help them to grow
- getting involved in the preliminary stages of a project to work on the global sustainable strategy
- find the good argues to orient project in the best direction (light footprint)

2. What role do you see as yours to play?

My role is to inspire the members of my team and help them to feel the sense of their job
On the projects I work on, my role is to rise the best balance between development (economical, social, use intensity) and frugility (low carbon constructions)

3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?

I want to keep the capacity to welcome new visions from the others what means, maintain a fair distance with the believes constructed by my own experience
I want to develop new ways of thinking to approach environmental questions
I want also to develop a stronger capacity to weigh on projects led by economical model

4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?

My first personal “work site” is about my relationship with the other : going toward the others, using more active listening, being more curious and sensitive to their feelings. I manage to have a deep and balanced relationship with a few person who I strongly trust in and I see rarely.

5. And for professional growth?

For my professional activity, I need to work my legitimacy feeling to defend environmental part and also I would like to find ways to make the non financial added value weight on the projects

6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?

I’ve been started a work for 2 years with a sophrology praticioner to improve my quality of presence and my connection to feelings. On the professional side, I did a training about added value analysis which was mainly focus on design to cost.

7. What fields of learning and which thinkers have been important in your life?

Scouting : for 20 years, this practice developed my sens of collectivity and my proximity with nature
Théodore Monod : biologist, french humanist, he wrote about human as part of global living world and human inhabitant of the world without any frontiers
Hopis : After a first travel in the Hopi reservation in my childhood, I organised a 1 month trip in Arizona in the reservation when I was 19. I red about their spiritulity founded in mother earth
Pierre Rahbi : thought leader on degrowth
Alter mondialism movement : Volonteer in the organisation of the social european forum in france in 2003 and participation to against summit of G8 the same year
Participative democraty : meeting of the municipality of Porto Allegre in 2005 and visit of local communities
Yvan Illich : especially his reflexions about conviviality
Philippe Bihouix : (AREP CEO) : French thought leader about low tech
Forest manager : Owner of a small forest for 2 years I did a training on forest management

8. Can you frame your philosophy or cosmology of life? What role(s) do humans play in it?

Whouah! Never thought about that.
I would say, keep on dreaming by sketching ordinary life, by living intensive experiences (artistic, friendly, professional), by working on a “future post carbon” (baseline of AREP). To construct this future, human is the problem and the solution and have to accept a new deal with nature
